Will any compact flash reader do?

Having been told i need one as a substitute for a usb driver for my casio QV-8000sx camara (previous question) I have been checking them out on ebay. Will anything do or does it need particular specifications?

The Casio QV-8000sx uses Compact Flash Type 1 cards, so you need a reader which can deal with that type.

Any will do so long as it has a card slot for the type of memory card your camera uses.

Do You Mean My Old Casio Digital Watch Might Be Worth Something?

All jokes aside, they say all old is new again and older Casio Digital Watches are collectible with most pre 1990 Casio's determined to be vin TAG e watches ( I guess that makes me an antique). A Casio Digital watch with a big quadrate face and multi display of day, date and time, which has been relegated to the back of my old jewellery box for about 20 years. Apparently the Casio Digital watch is sought after and has street cred. The trend for electronic face digital display watch es has come and gone during my lifetime but for some surmise I never threw away the one I ultimately bought myself. Come the early 80's digital watch es were more affordable and entertaining and I actually wanted one.   Casio made innovative, cheap and entertaining products which pushed the boundaries. The store for these other (sometimes crazy) gadgets - such as the the cigarette lighter calculator is in it's early days so they're still relatively easy to find.   Of policy not wanting to look like I wasn't trend spotter, I got mine out and said I'd been holding it to leave to him in my will....
