Well, if you have seen a good solid review from a website that you are familiar with, which includes good, solid image samples from a production model…that is one thing..but this whole thing with the XPro1 is absurd. I have not seen a sharp image yet and everyone is ordering this thing, and we are not talking $600 here……it is really funny..I guess cameras ARE the new fashion accessory!

I wouldn’t be surprised if a large amount of people/resellers are scooping up preorders with the hope that there will be a repeat of the X100 shortage, and the inflated prices that followed. I’d be surprised if that were to happen, since Fuji are better able to anticipate demand this time around. Regardless, Micro Four Thirds will remain my mirrorless system, for now.

Fujifilm FinePix S1000fd or Fujifilm FinePix S700 ??? NEED HELP TO CHOOSE!?

ok, i found a fujifilm finepix s700 for 150 $ and a fujifilm finepix S1000fd for 205 $ .

So i have to choose between these two and since buying the 205 $ one, will leave me broke for a few month i was wondering if it is worth it.

I have an s1000fd, it's a great camera. However, I've read that the s700 has better image stabilization and you can zoom in during video mode.

I love my s1000fd! I got a refurb for $150.

Well i don't know much about the s700 but i only just bought my s1000fd yesterday and i must say its rather exceptional good quality hundreds of modes and settings. great zoom and good 2.7 inch screen .
