Why, lower end drives volume which drives sales. D3X and D3S are glass leading as is D700. Those that know their pixels could care less whether they have 12 or 18 or whatever. Those that have small balls need more pixels and can be excused for feeling to Canon.

The Mothers and Fathers who buy DSLR to shoot amateur Nikon must capture. For those the Ti1 and Ti2 and the other manufactures offerings kick Nikon at the entry level. D5000 nice but a bit steep for what you get. The D3000 cheap and garbage compared to the competition. What they need is a D4000 using 12 Meg, 4FPS, D5K focus, 3FPS, no flip screen priced, MUST HAVE 1080P, and at 499, drop D3000 to 399. Keep D5000 as low volume flip screen. ANy Marketing monkey can see this coming!

Digital Photography Autofocus Tutorial D3100

In continuos focus you have the option to select your focusing point which allows you to select where your focus will be. For example if you are focused That is right, it looks like the D3100 from NIKON has been outed by a German Magazine. Now lets get into Autofocus modes that are available on just about all new cameras. Those are AF-C (Continuos) and AF-S (Single). It will also track subjects from one focus point to the next depending on how you have your camera set. In AF-C as long as your finger is pressed down half way on the shutter button it will continue to focus. The X-Pro 1 series is the first camera to feature the 16-megapixel APS-C X-Trans CMOS sensor, a brand new sensor that Fujifilm claims will offer a resolution equivalent to that of a full-frame sensor. The X-Pro 1 also features a new image processing engine - the EXR Processor Pro - to deliver high-speed shooting capabilities of up to 6fps. "When attaching a Fujinon XF-series lens on X-Pro1, both the viewfinder magnification and bright frame size automatically switch to support the lens focal length," adds Fujifilm. It also sports a new Hybrid Viewfinder - first introduced in the X100 - that will enable photographers to choose between an optical and electronic viewfinder. The sensor does not need an optical low-pass filter and has been reconfigured to offer a newcolour filter array that is inspired by the random arrangement of fine film grain. The red, green and blue pixels are arranged in 6x6 pixel sets with "high aperiodicity, which increases the degree of randomness," and help eliminate the fundamental cause of moiré and false colours, claims Fujifilm.

First Impressions of Nikon AFS 70-200mm 2,8G VR II

 Some of my best images from my early work were made with a Nikkor 80-200mm 2,8 ED lens 2-ring version. com The actual name of the lens is Nikon 70-200mm 2. Soon after the VR 70-200mm 2,8 lens appeared in 2003, I ordered it and used it a lot over the 8G ED VR II AF-S NIKKOR.
